Mission Statement

Farm Belle Transportation is a new service of the social enterprise GreenRight, turning everyday travel and recreational spending into opportunities to strengthen our local economy. Through premium transportation, curated agritourism and affordable delivery, Farm Belle invites guests to experience the beauty of purpose-driven business firsthand—strengthening our local foodshed and supporting those who choose to grow, produce, purchase and serve responsibly.

Every Farm Treasure Trail booked helps finance an educational tour for someone who otherwise could not afford the experience, while a portion of GreenRight's profit supports health and human services for survivors of human trafficking. Our mission is to connect people across economic divides with the farms, businesses, knowledge and experiences that help our whole community thrive.

Small farms and independent agricultural businesses often lack the marketing reach, distribution infrastructure and steady customer traffic available to larger enterprises. At the same time, many travelers are looking for more meaningful ways to experience the places they visit.

Farm Belle bridges that gap by bringing customers directly to the people, places and practices that make our region distinctive—creating memorable experiences while generating new economic activity for the local agricultural community.

Farm Belle is designed to benefit many constituents at once: travelers seeking authentic experiences; farms and agricultural entrepreneurs seeking customers; Great Businesses seeking stronger local supply connections; and small producers needing affordable delivery.

The model also reaches beyond paying guests by using successful tours and transportation services to help create educational opportunities and support GreenRight's broader charitable mission.

Farm Belle combines three complementary services: professional black car transportation; the signature Farm Treasure Trail; and affordable small-load delivery.

Farm Treasure Trail experiences introduce guests to regenerative agriculture, innovative agribusinesses and exceptional farm-to-table venues through hands-on activities and experiences curated around their interests. Together, the three services connect people, products and places throughout the region.

Premium transportation provides the logistical backbone. Farm Treasure Trail guests travel in comfort and style while experiencing three curated agricultural destinations. Available cargo capacity creates opportunities for affordable small-load delivery between farms and businesses.

By integrating transportation, tourism and distribution, Farm Belle allows each part of the enterprise to strengthen the others—making services more useful, efficient and economically sustainable.

Based in Waynesboro, Virginia, Farm Belle sits at the crossroads of the Shenandoah Valley and Central Virginia, with an initial five-county reach encompassing Augusta, Rockingham, Greene, Albemarle and Nelson Counties.

That location places Farm Belle within reach of thousands of farms and a remarkable concentration of agricultural, culinary and tourism destinations. Virginia has approximately 39,000 farms, providing enormous potential for the Farm Treasure Trail concept to expand well beyond its pilot program.

Farm Belle is preparing to launch a 32-stop Farm Treasure Trail pilot in Spring 2027 and is seeking grant and startup funding to establish participating partnerships, transportation and delivery operations, and introduce the Trail to residents and visitors.

The timing is promising: agriculture remains Virginia's largest private industry, with an estimated $82.3 billion annual economic impact, while experiential and agricultural tourism create new opportunities for farms to diversify their income and connect directly with consumers.
